In Ubuntu is there any similar software like Adobe Premier for Video editing ?

Yes, there is application called kino and PiTiVi. Please refer this website http://www.ibiblio.org/joey/videolinux/ its very useful for Video on GNU/Linux.

Also Ubuntu has introduced operating system for Multimedia its Ubuntu Studio please refer http://ubuntustudio.org/ for that. Please share

Dear All,

I am having one query in Ubuntu 7.04 / 7.10. If I am using any webmail account (gmail / rediffmail etc) & I want to attach one file from Network drive (file from other computer connected in network) then I do not get network option. Due to this data files can not be stored on centralized data server & hence taking backup of each individual computer is a time consuming task.  Can any one suggest me the solution ?
